Coincidence is God’s way of remaining anonymous?

Coincidence is God’s way of remaining anonymous.  ~Albert Einstein

I saw this quote and thought about the volunteers that come into our lives at Agape Flights.  Just as we are at wit’s end and desperation is setting in… literally in walks someone with just that skill or knowledge to help us stay on track.

Because we are a non-profit, we do depend heavily on volunteers and their generosity of time and donations and their willingness to share their knowledge.   We have volunteers who can fly airplanes, fix the planes, create accounting reports, give legal advice…you name it and we probably have someone we can call on.  Our volunteers give so generously of their time – they answer the phones, stuff envelopes, help clean up and always help remind us of the goodness of others.

The “coincidence” part is when they show up.  Everytime we have hit a road block or just cannot find our way, the phone rings or someone walks in the front door.  It might not seem like a big deal, but because we are limited in funding and want whatever we have to go to help serve the missionaries, we are constantly conscious of how integral our volunteers are to our service.  I can’t tell you how many times we just raise our eyes to the sky and say “thank you”.

The best part?  I don’t think these volunteers know what a difference they make to us, how they inspire us, how they remind of us of our gratitude or how they just make it more fun to go to work.

We couldn’t agree more with this post regarding the amazing volunteers at Agape Flights. It is very humbling to realize God has called us to work side by side with the folks who make up this work force and we are trusting in His timing to bring us back to Venice, FL. … just as we trust He will provide just the right volunteer at just the right time for the job needing to be done. That’s how we got involved in the first place. And we know He will bring us to stay at just the time we are needed to be there. Thanks to all the dedicated volunteers! We hope to be there with you soon.
